Hot Pink & Polka Dotted....but no bikini

Well Audrey & I went shopping for her first bathing suit of the summer! Dad said she couldn't wear a bikini, so we decided on the hot pink one piece that accentuates her legs....What do you think? We packed our lunch, the jumper and the sunscreen and headed to Barbara's pool for a couple of hours. The water was way too cold, and Audrey screamed when I put her toe in the water. We had so much fun that Audrey was completely worn out that afternoon.

Making Some Big Strides This Past Week...

My mom thought that I needed my first taste of real food. I tried out the bananas and liked the taste. I just can't figure out how to swallow yet. To be continued...

I snapped this one of her last Saturday while we were cleaning out the garage. She was supervising....and sucking her thumb. It's official. She's a thumbsucker!

She got her first big girl jumper last Thursday, and really does love it. She hangs out for a while until she gets bored and then lets out a high pitched scream that could shatter glass! Momma, you're funny!
I think I could get used to this...
Or maybe not.


So in one weeks time, Audrey has eaten bananas, stood up in her jumper, started sucking her thumb, and rolling over like a big girl. We are exhausted!! Oh, and did I mention that she's teething, so she's been a little irritable. She's reaching the point that she feels like she has to be entertained constantly and if she's not then she will let you know it. :)

I'm keeping a journal of all her FIRST'S to include in her baby book. Here is a sneak peak.....
