Date Night In Dallas......

It's been a long time coming, so Conor & I finally decided to pack up for a very quick weekend trip to Dallas. Audrey got to spend some time with Nana & Papa as we ate some great food, relaxed, caught up with some friends and enjoyed each other's company. As much as I missed her the minute we left town, it sure was nice to get away and have some fun!
We stayed at the Indigo Hotel in downtown Dallas.
When we arrived, we had lunch at Patrizio's in The Highland Park Village, walked around the boutiques and ended the evening with an amazing dinner @ Nick & Sam's Steakhouse with Jenni & Garry.

This chandelier was so fun and funky.......
The next morning we enjoyed coffee & lattes while basking in the morning sun. Spring is in the air and it feels so wonderful.....

We had to wait an hour to be seated for brunch. Conor was getting hungry........
Mimosas for Allison.......
Brunch at Nick & Sam's Grill.....

Allison was in town for a wedding, so we got to catch up before she headed back to LA......
Enjoying the pretty weather.......

This is after a fun filled weekend spent with Nana & Papa. Baby Girl is worn out!!!!! She slept ALL NIGHT LONG and took a cat nap at 9am.
Cuddled up on her pillow.....

What a fun little weekend we got to enjoy together before baby # 2 arrives!! Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend as well!!

Easter Finds & Decor.....

This year I've tried to make it a point to start collecting holiday decor. Just a few items so far.....
This is the cute little bunny that will be going in Audrey's Easter basket this year (her 1st Easter decor for her bedroom). I just love these carrots!.....
This vase was my grandmother's she gave to me years ago and I finally put it to good use....
Easter Tree (it's a tad bare, but every year I will add something new)......

All Things Martha.....

::I wanted to share with you a few of my favorite Easter craft ideas by Martha Stewart::

Glittery Eggs~
Who doesn't love eggs that sparkle?.......
Table accessories....
I love this marbleizing technique using olive oil & vinegar....
I've been on a mission trying to figure out what to put in Audrey's Easter basket this year. I've already found a few things I'm going to include like a pretty necklace with a matching bracelet, some books, a soft little lamb stuffed animal (we've been practicing the sound a lamb makes, and she's got it), a ceramic bunny (her 1st Easter decor accessory), definitely some chocolate, and plastic eggs. Maybe next year we can start the egg dying tradition.
I will be creating an Easter Tree for my living room tomorrow. I love this idea of keeping a 'tree' around all year long and decorating it according to the holidays & seasons. I think it's a perfect way for kids to get familiarized with the holidays and the meaning behind them. Plus, it's cute & fun!!!

Happy St. Patty's Day....

This is a sneak peak of our evenings after Audrey's bathtime. She's a streaker for sure!! I think she's liberated with no diaper on, fresh out of the bathtub, and wants nothing more than to run down the hall naked into the living room to greet anyone who is in there. Apparently I did the same thing when I was little.
Hope everyone drank a beer for this pregnant girl and I hope you enjoyed your St Pattys Day!! CHEERS!

Spring Wreath Crafting Party.....

I'm sooooo ready for some pretty weather!!!! I had the gals over for chocolate fondue, wine, & wreath making. We had a great little turn out and everyone left with a beautiful wreath or door hanging for their front door.
Jen & the boys came to visit.....
Nahleen...
Robyn & Aubrey getting their craft on.....
Whitney forgot her wreath, so she collected some branches and cones from our backyard (she brought the birds nest and eggs) and sprayed with silver glitter & added some ribbon.....

Happy Spring.......

My cute Easter eggs from Hobby Lobby that I just love.....
All I need now is a spring door mat and we'll be in business!!!

Another Playdate.......

We decided to stop Gymboree for the time being because it was interfering with Audrey's nap time. Plus it's hard for me to do at this time, so we've been making up for it with our many play dates throughout the week.
People Watchin.....
Anything & everything gets kisses from Audrey....
Including me.....
In the end, all she wanted to do was play with my cell phone (which, by the way, isnt working anymore. So I'm phoneless).....
