Ava's 'Funky French Shabby Chic' Nursery.....
This is the wall art collage above the crib. The paintings are one of my favorite things about the room & are available here. The two little plates were given to me by my grandmother and have been in our family for years.
The hydrangea mobile that is made out of gold floral wire, hot glue, & blue, green & hot pink hydrangea flower petals. Got the idea from here. Love love love it!!!
Accessorizing with crowns is apparently very 'french'. Perfect for a little princess!
The view for Ava Rose.
The mirror is also one of my fav's about the nursery. It was pretty hideous before with it's 1970's frame, but I brought it to life with 8 different kinds of scrapbooking paper & a little modge podge. Mirrors can be so expensive, but for $10 I have a one-of-a-kind mirror that I absolutely love. I can't forget about the day I found the furniture. It was a happy day that you can read about here.

Gold Carriage Bow Holder. See before pic here.
A crown night light that I found from Cobblestone....
It wouldn't be very 'French' without the Eiffel Tower....
This is a plate that came from Granny Bill's (Conor's Grandma) plate collection. I love plates and he brought it to me one day after cleaning out her house. The little bunny is Audrey's Easter decor, but he looked too cute sitting in the holiday closet so we brought him out of hiding.
A pic from Conor's Company Christmas Party in 09, a cute little tea plate that my mom picked up at The Rink, & a pretty glass flower vase from Hobby Lobby.
I foresee a tea party in our future. This cute little set was my Grandmother's. I take huge pride in anything she has ever given me and I love that Audrey & Ava's rooms have a little something from both of their Great~Grandmothers.

I had the shelves & the bed painted with this.
Changing Table
Another Fav~ Before pics here.
This turquoise frame was a wedding gift that I thought would look perfect in here. The vintage books were books that I read as a child that were given to me by Grandma Ruth.
And I do everyday!!!!
Rocker from Grandma as well.
This was Conor's baby crib that I had to have. I'm very sentimental and I think with a new coat of paint, it is perfect for our little girl!

Ava's 1st Week.....
Getting Ava buckled in for the car ride home. After our 24 hr stay at the hospital, we were ready to come home!! Since Ava was doing so well, they granted our wish.
Ha! Poor thing! And the hat fettish begins.....
Getting escorted down stairs with my baby.....
Leaving the hospital....
Welcome Home!! This is Audrey's 2nd time to meet her sister.
Proud Grandparents!
1st night by ourselves! Conor is very hands-on, and I couldn't be more proud of him! He's such an amazing Dad!
Pretty Roses for Miss Ava Rose!
From~ The O'Reilly's.....
More Roses! Our home smelled amazing thanks to New Leaf!! From~ The Simons.....
Cuddling with me in bed....

Tiny Girl!
Getting rocked to sleep. Her schedule is completely reversed.
She's up and ready to socialize @ 3am, and wants to sleep all day.
Daddy's Girl!

She's such a sweet baby!
You just don't even know she's here. She's so relaxed and doesn't make a peep.

He's got the swaddle technique down!
Granny JJ....
G Doc......
The O'Reilly's......
Heidi & Audrey playing before dinner.....

1st bath at home......
Obviously, you can see her feelings about this.....

I made Dad be the bad guy and bathe her.
She's so pi$$ed....
Poor Baby....
It looked like she was just glaring at him! So funny!
She's not a fan of headbands, dangit! Look at those pouty lips!
Mom is mean!
1st car ride with mom. Why do I have anxiety to take her out of the house??
She slept the entire time.

We took a short walk in our neighborhood in our new Baby Bijorn (thanks mom!). This is after the walk, and as you can see she loved it!
Worn out from our walk....

Audrey is in Georgia for over a week to spend time with Conor's parents and give us a chance to get some rest and bond with little Miss Ava. We miss her like crazy!!! Here are some sweet videos that they sent me so I don't have complete withdrawal!
