Nursery Lamp Shade Redo.....

It turned out exactly like I had envisioned!! I saw an inspiration lamp last week at Clover Leaf that was similar & thought I can do that. I think mine turned out better! :)
This has been in our den for a while and I just always thought it needed a little something. I tried to 'age' the base last year with some brown paint. Didn't work. It still needed something......
So I painted the base that same gold metallic that I sprayed the carriage with and added some colorful roses, lace, & blue and white pearls for the middle of the flowers......
Start at the bottom with the lace and hot glue your way up......
I hot glued this one first, but decided to strategically place the rest of the flowers before I sealed the deal......
You just pull apart the flower and hot glue it back together one layer at a time.....
I love the blue pearls and how it ties in the turquoise from the rest of the room.....
What do you think?? French Shabby Chic!?!!
At night the light is so soft and it just looks amazing!!! LOVELOVELOVEIT!!!!!
For $25, I have a new and improved lovely little lamp for our lovely baby girl!!
