Scenes from our weekend

Dinner at Ludivine on Friday evening with Natalie & Regan. So great to catch up.
Saturday was our neighborhood Valentines Social at our neighbor's house down the street. I love our street and I love that we have get togethers twice a year. Ava's face cracks me up here.
Lovebug
Ava spared no expense with the Valentines jewelry accessories. Like mother like daughter.
The neighbors and the cutest balloon curtain I've ever seen.
The dance off in the living room
Audrey & Ava got a kick out of this baby stroller and actually fought over it a couple of times.
Taylor and Audrey are the cutest together. They adore one another and hold hands everywhere they go.
Saturday night I coaxed mom into coming over for taco soup and to also style the shelves in my china cabinet. She has such a knack for dish/accessory placement and did such a fantastic job with everything I had to work with. Thank you Mama!! XO
Since I had my chevron stencil and paint out already I went ahead and gave a little life to the top of my end table in our bedroom.
Possibly a little obsessed...
Saturday the girls and I braved the freezing temps and headed to Affair of the Heart for some shopping. We only made it to 2 of the 5 buildings before the girls started to get restless and sleepy. I found the most darling rose colored bangles to go with my new watch to achieve the layered look I've been wanting. And they we 40% off. Score!
We completed the girls Valentines love note boxes for their party tomorrow. Ava picked out Rapunzel stickers and Audrey went with Little Mermaid to personalize their box. They decorated them all by themselves with just a little help from mom. They are becoming very creative and I love that we enjoy doing things like this together.
Happy Monday!

Halloween

I will forever love this picture. Snapped as we were leaving.
Halloween school party
Getting the girls ready for trick-or-treating was an interesting task to say the least.
Sugar High already
Love this shot of Ava. Taaa-Daaa
I made the girls' fairy wings out of wire hanger and panty hose, an idea from Pinterest. I let Audrey decorate her own and Ava's were covered in glitter flowers.
Love their green hair. Ava let me put make-up on her but Audrey did not. Shocking actually....
I was a gypsy with my fairies.
Love this shot
Meltdown to end the evening.

Fall Pin Partay

My friend & neighbor Courtney hosted our Pin Party last week! I'm telling you, I just can't get enough of this stuff. I LOVE making stuff..anything. With friends and wine in hand. Nothin' better!
Courtney and her cute Pumpkins

I loved this one. She used crystal medallions from chandeliers and hot glued them onto her white pumpkin. It will add the perfect amount of glam for her front porch.
My Candy Corns made out of styrofoam cones and yarn. Love em!
Regan made these Santa Cones that are just too cute. I'm making these at our next Christmas Pin Party.
Tiffany made an adorable tin basket that was modged podged with scrap booking paper and paper flowers for her Junior League class.
And Jen painted 3 pumpkins purple and black with a 'trick-or-treat' stenciling. Can't wait to see the finished product!
Happy Pinning!

Fall Loot

It's so nice to have an excited helper when I drag out all the Holiday decor. She kept saying, "ohhhh, ahhhh, preeettty mommy"...
Holiday gel stickers for the front window have become tradition the last year.
front porch lanterns
Spooky Mantle~ I haven't bought anything new this year, just made a few items. And there is no rhyme or reason to my mantle decorating madness. I basically just stuffed our ledge full of everything that could fit. It looks kind of messy and sppooky...i like it. :) I did purchase purple Halloween lights to add some sparkle. The candy corns I made this week at our Pin Party (more on that later). I also moved my Mossy Pumpkin wreath inside and hung it on the back door to make room for my new Halloween wreath for the front door.Halloween Wreath
Really stoked about my $8 garage sale swap find (from my friend Courtney) iron flower pot!! It's the perfect pumpkin holder!
Annnd, I lost my helper.
Audrey got preoccupied and started playing in the dirt. ;)
Happy Halloween!
