It was a very smooth and easy delivery for me thank goodness! They induced me and gave me pitocin at 8am. I started having heavy contractions around 10am. By 11am I was wondering where in the world my hero the Epidural Man was. I was starting to get very uncomfortable when he graced us with his presence around noon............Pure Bliss after that moment......... My nurse checked me at that point and I was dialated to a 4-5. When she came and checked me an our and a half later, I had dialated from 4-5cm to 9 1/2cm!! Wow!! Amazing progress just within a couple of hours. It was go time! They immediately phoned my doctor and brought in the surgical techs and set up shop. So by the time my doc arrived, I was prepared, in position, and ready to do this. Within 20 minutes and probably 10 pushes, she was here!!! My nurse was so amazing and coached me the entire way. At 4:31 on May 10, 2010 we met our sweet Ava Rose O'Reilly!!! She weighed 6lbs 8oz and was 20 in long. Our lives have been so blessed and I couldn't be happier and more content with the wonderful things happening in our lives. I feel like I'm living a dream at times. God has been so good to us and I 'm forever thankful and I cherish every moment!!! This is what life is all about!!

Right after the birth , we were moved into a recovery room due to the tornados outside, sirens blaring and all. 
While we were praying to not get blown away, we snapped some sweet one-on-one time with our sweetie!! 
She resembles Audrey a little to me..... 
But, she has her own look for sure 
And that look is perfect!!!
