So this is it. We're coming down to the wire here. 3 more days until we meet our new addition to the family. I can't stand it any longer! I want her here so bad. I want to know she is healthy. I want to see the proud look on Conor's face when he cuts the embilical cord. I want to know her name. I wan't to see Audrey look at her for the first time. I wan't to hold her in my arms.
We've (I've been supervising) been scurrying around here the last week, trying to finish up some last minute projects before Monday. Nothing like the arrival of a new one to motivate us and get our butts into high gear. We both work well under pressure. Conor is finishing laying the sod in our back yard today. Sprinkler system got installed this week (You know you're getting old when an irrigation system excites you). New flower bed in back. The shelving in the nursery is up with all her cute accessories in place. Her Papaya artwork came in last week and it is so fab and looks adorable above her crib. I will be starting and finishing her mobil today. I rewashed her crib sheets and changing table cover. Her chandelier will be installed this weekend. Installing her car seat this weekend as well as packing us a bag for our stay at the hospital. I think that sums it all up. I, of course, will keep you posted on Monday. Have a wonderful weekend!
