My Green Thumb

Gardening is a hobby I love to do. My mom has been into it ever since I can remember. My first flower to ever utter as a toddler was petunia {hence Petunia Baby Bloom}. Mom inspires me with every passing year to become a better gardener. I'm still learning and I try to absorb all the information I hear. My Grandma Ruth is also an avid gardener and the majority of annuals I've planted in our garden the last couple of years are from her garden.

{Colious and Gerber Daisies}
{Audrey loves to pick them or pick off the pedals one by one}
{One little lone Strawberry}
{Herbs~Lemon Thyme, Basil, Rosemary}
Tomato plants are filling out quite nicely, but there isn't one tomato on them. One thing on on my bucket list this year is to can some salsa with tomatoes from our garden, but with the looks of it the tomatoes will have to be store bought.
Daisies from Grandma's garden I transplanted 2 years ago. After I fertilized them about a month ago, they've doubled in size.
{Pink Zinnias}
{Okra}
{Peppers}
Colious, Geraniams, Marigolds, & the Mint is starting to take over....I've babied this flower pot since the sudden hail storm that did quite a bit of damage to our home and patio a few months ago. It's coming back quite nicely!
This is the same pot the day of the hail storm. Our plants and shrubs were demolished. It was a sad day for us!
I didn't show you everything in our garden because I need to pull some weeds (a ton of them). I've been slacking in the weed pulling department lately because it's way too darn hot out during the day and the skeeters will get you in the evening. So last night I bit the bullet and got to work. And I have the mosquito bites to prove it (i hate those things).Happy Weed Pulling to me this weekend.
