I switched the location of our entry console recently and all the cluttered accessories that were on it.
After reading this post, I loved the mirror behind the console.
I'm welcoming my changing taste in colors and decor.
Its previous location was directly next to the front door. Trying to get out the door in the mornings was quite the task with a baby & car seat, a toddler and a big diaper bag. It was a little crammed to say the least. I'm loving the new spot for it. We also changed the color of the entry from an off white to Sherwin Williams Dorian Gray. It's a tad too blue for me, but I'm working with it. Grays and lighting are annoyingly tricky. I wish I would've gone a couple shades darker. Up next, is the living room!

I got this little beauty today and I'm in LOVE. It was a STEAL for $8!! You know I love my bargain shopping! I wanted a punch of orange and turquoise so it was perfect.

I would love to add a lamp to the table, but our home doesn't have an electrical outlet in our entry. Gotta love a 1960-something home! I'm aware I can call an electrician, but that's just another thing to add to my already-huge-house-to-do list, so I'm procrastinating.
This is the area the table was. Looks pretty bare, I realize. I see a gallery wall in it's near future. I should move the picture over to the left a little to center it, but I get anxiety about putting nail holes in my walls. So it's staying put for now, since it's temporary. And new cafe style curtains for the front door...possibly in white. Oh, and a new runner rug. All in time. I keep telling myself that. :)
Hope your having a great day.
I'm off to a Ladies Night tonight for Tarah's going away. :(
Bittersweet, for sure!
