We were fortunate enough to attend the Heritage Awards at The Cowboy Hall of Fame.

Ed Harris was the MC and Grace and I were brave enough to strut on up to him and ask for a pic. He was very nice but didn't want to stand up and cause a scene. My all-time fav movie of his is Sweet Dreams! He's an amazing actor!!

If you're a CSI fan then you know who Rex Linn is. He is a riot and was also an MC.

I asked him if he ever gets tired of this as all of us ladies were lining up around him.

He said, "Are you kiddin' me?"

He looks so much like my step-dad, it's unreal.

After the awards, we headed over to Michael's Grill to enjoy a night cap and dessert.

Ava was having a hard sleeping (teething) after we got home, so Daddy rocked her to sleep and dozed off a little himself.
