Mantle Painting

I've had a blank canvas perched on the mantle for a few months up until a couple of Fridays ago when I finally got the inspiration, courage and time to devote to it.

I put the girls to bed, poured me a Skinnygirl Margarita, turned on It's Complicated on the dvr, and went to town on that blank canvas.

I'm so proud of the outcome and I'm loving the colors that it adds to the space.

P.S.~I found a new hobby!! :)))

I adore setting a table, polishing silverware & wine glasses, picking up the flowers at the market, & making place card settings (usually for holidays only). Inviting our closest family and friends over for a yummy dinner that Conor & I made together. Drinking wine and catching up. It warms my soul.

even though I complain about doing it, weed pulling is very theraputic to me. I enjoy watching the flowers, herbs, & vegetables grow from little seeds to beautiful blooms.
