::Things I did this year::

*I fell in love with cooking.
*I had a baby.
*I planted my very own vegetable & herb garden.
*I made some incredible friendships with my Junior League ladies.
*I took about 7 or 8 road trips and loved every minute of it. Even the 2 to Nebraska.
*I took a sewing class.
*I learned how to use my new sewing machine.
*I started a baby line.
*I turned the BIG 3-0.
*I went from black to blond to black again.
*I am pregnant with baby #2.

Thank you to every single one of you that shared my year of Oh-Nine with me. In real life, & through this blog. XOXO!

Goodbye Oh-Nine, you were a good one!!!

I know it's typically pointless to make New Year's Resolutions, but it's that time of year!!! Sometimes I follow through, and sometimes I don't, but it makes me feel better to write my goals down at the beginning of every year. So here it goes.....

::Have a healthy baby
& recovery in May. That means continuing with my regime of walking 3-5x a week, watching my salt and sugar intake, eating lots of protein & veggies (which most of you now know, I'm not digging meat at the moment), drinking tons of water, & having a healthy mind & attitude!! And continue on with this healthy lifestyle even after Baby is born...with the occasional glass of wine or champagne, & piece of chocolate cake or key lime pie::

::Focus on lifelong relationships/friendships that are positive and meaningful. Tired of flakey people and friends::

::Collect more original art work for our Home. No more Hobby Lobby stuff::

::Start a lifetime collection of 2 things~Mackenzie-Childs & Nadri Jewelry:: After visiting On A Whim recently, I have discovered the been around forever, always classic Mackenzie-Childs. I think my kitchen needs the canisters! Audrey & I decided to see what kind of trouble we could get ourselves into when we were in Georgia. So where did we end up?? At the Nadri Jewelry Counter at Nordstroms in downtown ATL. Does this really surprise anyone?? I purchased a beautiful pave' necklace & a pair of earrings that I felt I could not walk away without!! A very much deserved Christmas present! A Love Affair has officially blossomed! I have my eyes on these fabulous bangles! Ah-Oh!

::Redo our front flower bed this spring. If spring is not possible, then definitely by fall. I can't look at these bushes that were planted in the 70s anymore::

::I would love to learn how to bake homemade bread in my breadmaker::

::I would like to can salsa this year. I have the mason jars and recipe ready to go::

::Organize, clean out and donate anything & everything we haven't used or worn in the last year. Our closet and garage space is getting smaller by the day with all of our junk just sitting, taking up space. If only we had 1 more bedroom!!!::

::Lose ALL of my baby weight after Baby O'Reilly #2 is born. This includes baby weight that I didn't lose after Audrey::

::I would love to get better @ running, and complete (I said complete, not compete) a 1/2 marathon in 2011. I used to run a mile every single day and I hated every moment of it, but I felt great, and I was at my ideal weight! I need to train my mind again!!::

::Take an oil painting class, and start painting again::

::Frame meaningful pictures and finally create the hallway of memories::

::Continue to volunteer my time to the community through Junior League and complete my RS hours asap::

::Be the best wife, mother, daughter, sister & friend I can be!!::

"Here's to the bright New Year, and a fond farewell to the old; here's to the things that are yet to come, and to the memories that we hold."

What are your NY resolutions???
