This year's Dream Home is nestled in the mountains of New Mexico, in between Albuquerque & Sante Fe. I have always had a fondness for Sante Fe, ever since we vacationed there when I was a little girl. Conor & I also honeymooned in Sante Fe and it was magical. I hold a special place in my heart for this wonderful place on earth. I LOVE everything about it. The quaint downtown restaurants, art & jewelry vendors in the town square, the rustic fashion, all the turquoise jewelry a girl could ask for, the smell of pinion wood burning in a fireplace, the spa @ La Posada, the endless art, cowboy boots, glass art galleries, cow hide furniture, bright blue front doors, catholic services at the cathedral, sunsets, fabulous breakfast dishes at Pasquals, margaritas on the patio of La Fonda......I could go on & on. So you can bet your booty I'm entering in this contest, and you should too!! (www.hgtv.com)

So there it is...one of my favorite places to be. Everytime we leave Sante Fe, I always ask Conor if we can pack up and move there. Not anytime soon, but I dream of the day when we can retire there to our cozy little house in the mountains.
