My Christmas Present for the Home.....

~My Pottery Barn Floating Shelves~
displays our art that requires an elevated & quiet place away from curious little hands.
This orange vase was our first piece of Colin's art we purchased on our honeymoon in Sante Fe. The tiny blue crackled vase was my grandmother's first accessory to ever decorate their home with in the 1940s. It was 50 cents, and she almost didn't buy it because it was too expensive. :) The clear paper weight was also my grandma's that she gave to me years ago.
A ceramic bowl that I got on a skiing trip in Red River, NM in 2005. This bowl was the reason I was inspired to take a pottery class.
This clay pitcher was a gift from my sister that she brought back to me after their vacation in Spain.
I bought this statue at The Chicago Art Museum as a birthday gift to myself in 2006.
The glass sculpture was a 30th birthday present....
Soon I will add some large black and white photos after the new baby is born.
One of my favorites! A platter that was specially made just for us by Colin O'Reilly. I told him I wanted a turquoise platter with slashes of color, and I couldn't be more impressed with his creativity and talent!!!

Our little art collection that makes me smile......growing as the years go by.
