Saturday Night BBQ

Last night, about 10 of us got together at Angie's to have dinner, play skip-bo & watch True Blood. The evening was amazing, full of great company, food, and adult conversation. With Nana {thank you again Mom!} & Papa watching the girls all evening, we even got to sleep in this morning! How did we get so lucky?

This is the Sun Dried Tomato & Artichoke Dip Appetizer dish that I brought for the evening. It was my 1st time making it and it turned out delicious! Kinda messy to make, but well worth it. Recipe to follow.
Baked bacon wrapped dates. Such a hit and so very easy!
Who can resist champagne & a classic game of skip-bo. I most certainly couldn't!
Trish & Angie
Angie has my dream kitchen. White & grey marble counter tops, GE professional dual-fuel range, farmhouse sink, subway tile as the back splash......Oh, I dream of the day. Here is Conor frying up some shrimp.
Don & Angie having a great time. We all loved him!
My handsome Harley Man!
Ribeye's were to die for.
Jeff (Conor's customer), Conor, & Dave (Conor's employee)

I think I've decided I need to stop drinking red wine. It makes me very sleepy & it turned my teeth the color of my shirt all evening . Boo! I love too much.
Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend! As I'm typing this, I'm laying in bed, in a quiet house {husband went to pick up the girls}, listening to the thunderstorms roll in with the window open. A rare, quiet little moment to myself that I'm very grateful for.

It's the little things, right?

Happy Sunday!
