Fun in the Sun

An afternoon with two pretty little bathing beauties, some Chick-fi-la, & a gorgeous pool is all I need in the summer.

A Lovely Day In The Neighborhood

::Scenes from our day::

Easter set-up is out
Photo shoot of Ava on the front porch before we head out to pick up Audrey
Look at those chompers!
While Ava was napping, I had the pleasure of pulling weeds with my oldest. She was desperate to wear my gardening gloves.
Planted two maidenhair ferns in the pots flanking our porch. Maybe I'll have luck with these this year.
New paint on the mailbox~black to turquoise in less than an hour.
Have I mentioned how much I love spray paint?
Thankful on this Thursday for a gorgeous day outside with my ladies!

Summer Randomness

In August after we got back from Georgia, we had a joint birthday party at Mom's house for Conor, sister Stacey & brother~in~law Sonny. Conor will be styling with his new ties, hanky & over coat. I've got such a handsome husband I can hardly stand it! :)
Kiddos playing outside & enjoying a rainbow pop cycle. I believe Audrey had 3. Ha! You're only a kid once, right?!
The men enjoying their tradition of smoking cigars & having a cold one on the patio.
Sweet little Ava @ 3 months
The most beautiful rainbow in our back yard after a thunderstorm.
'Feeding the fishies' with Papa. Audrey knows exactly what this is when your say it. She goes running for the fish food.

Playing in the pond.
Looks who's holding her bottle.
Bathtime~getting all lotioned up
Holding her head up
Our okra plants are finally producing. If I skip a day of picking, I will be greeted with a 12 inch long okra, which are too tough to eat. The best time to pick is when they're about 3-4 inches long.
Tv watching and relaxing with the kiddos after a long day.
I can't leave her alone for a second. She loves going into my bathroom and rummaging through my draws and finding all sorts of goodies. Here she obviously found my make-up palate filled with eye-shadow and lip gloss. Little toot.
Sad to see summer go, but thrilled for fall to be here. We are spending OU/TX at The Simons' celebrating cousin Angie's birthday and of course watching some football. Hope you enjoy your weekend!!
