Last Saturday I hosted a baby shower for my dear friend Robyn. {I will post pics as soon as I get some emailed to me since I didn't have my camera.}

After the shower the girls & I relaxed and spent the rest of the evening together watching movies {Bambi & Cars} and cuddling on the couch. It was exactly what I needed after a full week of party planning. Exhaustion had officially set in and I couldn't think of anywhere else I'd rather be.

Time to call it a day. We didn't see many animals and spent most of the time in the Childrens Zoo (water fountain). We'll have to make a another trip this spring.

Snow White

I bought this for Audrey as her Halloween costume last year. She hated it and started bawling the second I put it on her. So she was a cow instead. This has been hanging it her closet since then and I pulled it out this week as I was cleaning out her closet. She ooh and ahh-ed over it and insists on wearing it at least once a day now.

So last night we had a fashion show in the living room to show Daddy. She was so proud! After taking her picture, she had to take a peek and look at herself on the preview screen.

Snow Days

We woke up to a beautiful snow fall yesterday morning. Even though we've been cooped up in the house for what seems like weeks, I couldn't help but appreciate the huge snowflakes that adorned our backyard.

We've enjoyed everything from painting, coloring, puzzles, tea parties, arranging flowers, making Valentines, sticking stickers on every surface of the house, baking brownies, to playing hide-n-seek.

So what do you do when you've tried everything under the sun (or snow clouds) to keep a 2-year old entertained?

You raid Momma's closet and make-up drawer to play dress-up!

Don't worry, you WON'T see us on the next episode of Toddlers & Tiaras! I promise!
