Movin' On Up

Everyday seems to be passing by faster than the next. It blows my mind. I remember dropping Audrey off in this class while Ava was a newborn and snuggled up in her carseat and now Ava's time has come.
Ava is a Monkey now. Last week was her first week in her new class. Look at her little bitty pony tail. Ahh, just melts my heart!

Audrey likes to go with me to drop Ava off in her class and pick her up. It must be a big sis thing. Their teachers will tell me that they wave to each other and blow kisses when they pass by each other in the hall. That made me so proud and just want to burst with happiness. They fight (or squawk at each other) but they love each other so much also.
After dropping Ava off we stopped by Audrey's posters that are on display. They are learning and recognizing their favorite things & their home. She's so proud of her posters and she loves to stop and look and them before we go into her classroom.

Audrey's 1st Christmas Program

Audrey's 'Senior Monkey' class put on the cutest show last week at her school. The kids dressed up as reindeer and angels and put on quite the little show. After sneaking out of my seat, I plopped down in the front row to hopefully get some pictures of her and her friends. Almost all of her classmates were bawling hysterically and I was so proud of the way she handled herself.

She was so sweet sitting there on stage playing with her bell and singing Jingle All The Way.

Until she spotted me in the audience!

It was all down hill from there. I thought she was literally going to jump off the stage to get to me.

Hope you're enjoying the last few days before Christmas. I've got all our gifts wrapped, recipes in order, groceries bought, & the table is set. Kinda nervous about this one. This will be my 1st Christmas Dinner to prepare for my family of 9 people. Wish me luck!

Thanksgiving Luncheon

Last Thursday, Audrey's school hosted a Thanksgiving Lunch for the children and their families. Conor couldn't make it, but Nana & Papa got to enjoy it with us.

You would've thought I starve this poor child by the way she went to town on her plate. Sister was hungry for some turkey goodness!

I can't believe Thanksgiving is next week. Unbelievable how time seems to be flying by. And faster every year. Speaking of flying, we'll be heading to Georgia for the holiday. Can't wait!

Monkeying Around

Tuesday was Audrey's big day to move on up to 'Senior Monkey' class at CDO. Before school, she had some bonding time with Bitty Baby.

I was wanting to snap some shots of her in her classroom, but her teacher met me at the door and escorted Audrey from there. Good thing because I'm always a distraction to her.

Audrey's Halloween Party

Since moving Audrey into her 'Senior Monkey' Class this week, she's been a tad shy upon entering the classroom and greeting her new friends and teachers. She clings to me the minute we get there and bawls the second I leave. Poor baby. She looks so terrified.

When I arrived for the Halloween Party today, she had a better attitude and squealed with delight when she saw me. It possibly could've been the cookies in my hand though. :)
